Beyond Bach

Max Baillie presents a transportive programme centred around the dialogue between choir and solo violin, featuring the monumental Chaconne by Bach, from the epic D minor Partita for solo violin, interspersed with Chorale Preludes sung buy the Hastings Singers. Also music by Oliver Messiaen, Zoe Martlew, John Tavener, Gustav Mahler, and Deborah Pritchard.
